They say if you don’t like something change it …if you cannot change it change your attitude…Other say that our attitude will determine if we succeed or not…

Interesting and ironic.. but is it that simple?

Ok, so am back to Beirut first things on the agenda:

READ ‘Where will you be five years from today’ very interesting book recommended by another classmate in the MG course that I in return would recommend to those who would like to make a change. It’s more like ‘a play book’ as the author describes it … that will awaken your imagination, discover the inner you and help you get the most out of the next 5 years.

Anyway let me go back on focusing more on changing your attitude and what you think especially when things are not that ok with your life. Ok one of things that I picked up from NYC is an unhealthy relationship with Twizzlers!! Why? Well it’s a just reminder of my beloved NYC… Yah everyone has their own attachment issues, mine is always related to food :)…

Anyway, one day I decided to go for a walk to clear up my mind and of course I picked up some Twizzlers to escort me :). As I was leaving the building so caught up with my Twizzlers, and of course for those of you who know me well a disaster is one the way! I did not notice that the water canal in front of my building is open and of course my foot got stuck in it…Well obviously I lost my balance, my body shifted 360 degrees 🙂 and I fell on the floor with one foot stuck in the gutter and a Twizzler stuck in my mouth!! And the funny thingy every single guy in the neighborhood came to my rescue, one of them shouting loudly OMG Hilda fell! OMG Hilda fell!

Yah sweetheart it’s not enough embarrassing as it is make it more obvious to everyone :). …

So anyway two men had to carry me yes two!! Listen people am not that light and of course I was bursting of laughter… they placed me on a chair and put some ice of my foot and still the laughter did not stop.. My neighbor was passing by, so embarrassed with my situation I started talking to her about YOGA classes 🙂 . Few minutes later I pulled myself together and picked up the pieces and went for an hour long walk ignoring my pain…well I couldn’t move my foot for a month but we’ll talk about that later on…

Attitude? Yes ?

Why?

Well I believe that at some point in your life you need to stop analyzing what was or what will be and live in the moment, things eventually will fall into place after all everything happens for a reason… The reason I fell was the universe telling: STOP EATING TWIZZLERS!! 🙂

Seriously, it’s the attitude that counts because when you are in trouble it’s your attitude that will help you come up with solutions to your problems…instead of dwelling on the obstacle and blame the universe to your misfortune…

I just wonder… should we stop planning, figuring out what we want or what we are feeling and see what turns out, seek the adventure… hmm may be its out for the best or not.. It all depends on your perspective… Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching? …Food for a thought
